At James Hogg Transport Refrigeration, all our transport refrigeration service personnel are factory trained and fully F-Gas compliant qualified to C&G 2079 class one level as required by law.
That from January 1st 2015 Transport Refrigeration has been comprehensively written into the control of fluorinated refrigerants EU regulation 517/2014 being fully encompassed into UK law in March 2015.
This means that operators of transport refrigeration equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gas) above a certain level must now have annual leak checks performed on all their equipment and record keeping must be in place and held for 5 years both with the equipment owner and the company carrying out the repair. The law states that there is a shared responsibility between the operator/owner and repairer to minimise F-Gas leaks to atmosphere, that all work on the refrigeration side of transport units must be carried out by fully certified engineers and that the company you employ to undertake the work must be F-Gas registered and compliant.

Our processes and documents have been agreed with the relevant governing bodies. Our staff are fully F-Gas compliant and can legally undertake all aspects of this work for you. We can perform stand alone annual indirect, direct leak tests or perform these tasks at routine maintenance. We will store your records for 5 years meaning they can be easily accessed again if required. We will also issue the required record keeping documents for all refrigerant movements as required and again keep and store duplicates for 5 years for you. Why risk it?
